The enterprise application BIZ2
BIZ2 is an enterprise application suitable for retail. It supports bricks-and-mortar, mail order and e-commerce retailing. It has a role based user interface that only shows the areas the user has access to.
The screenshot to the right shows the order form with the product catalog directly available at the upper right corner and the order items at the lower right. Product availability status is updated in real time in both the product catalog and the order items with quantity available in stock of the ordered quantity, estimated delivery date and lead time based on which suppliers has the product in stock and their respective lead times.
Each party, a customer or supplier, has a main form that shows information about the company, contacts and current events on the first page like for example active orders and possible collections of invoices due payment. The form is divided in a number of tabs at the top for pages like orders, purchases, invoices, payments and quotations.
BIZ2 has a comprehensive purchasing management system where the purchaser has access to all information about for example which suppliers that has a product in stock and at what price and a history of all purchases of that product together with a history of sales and margins.
An advanced inventory prognosis system helps the purchaser performing purchases more or less automatic.
